Some Guidelines for using Live It Keep It

Memory Boxes are intended for personal use, the Administrator of each Box elects whether a Memory sent to the Box can be viewed by the general public or is of a private nature with access restricted by the Administrator.

The following Guidelines are provided as a template only and should be read in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions.

What to do

  • Be Respectful.
Memories are recollections of events in someone’s life or your life, your recollection may or may not be perfectly accurate. All who visit our Website have the right to feel comfortable and many may not think what you think, believe what you believe or see what you see. So, be polite and respectful in your recollections and simply HAVE FUN..

  • Remember “Family” is forever
Memories are not always positive. Be mindful of Family issues. Living Memory Boxes have been designed to provide future generations with an insight into who we are and what values we represented. Leave a positive legacy.

  • Do moderate your content.
You need to take responsibility for ensuring that what you upload is appropriate. What you deem suitable to be viewed in the public forum and on occasions by children, may not be viewed as suitable by everyone. Be mindful of your audience.

  • Memories need not be long
You do not have to create “War and Peace” each time we create and submit a memory. Get the point across but always be mindful that the reader may be your Great Grandchild so their commitment to the written word may not be yours. Keep it short and to the point.

  • Enjoy your Memory Box or the Boxes you have created for others!
Help future generations to see the world through your eyes, participate in providing memories to other Boxes, having Fun is the key!!!

What not to do

  • Don’t forget the children.
Take the opportunity to filter your content responsibly. If you would hesitate to show your photos to a child, your mum, or other Family Members, that means it needs to be filtered. So, ask yourself that question as you upload your photos, thoughts, recollections or Audio and moderate accordingly.

  • Don’t show nudity in the public domain.
Administrators must categorize submitted Memories as being viewed either, Privately - (under authority of the Administrator) or Publicly. Be mindful of your possible audience.

  • Don’t upload content that is illegal or prohibited.
If we find you doing that, your account will be deleted and we'll take appropriate action, which may include reporting you to the authorities.

  • Don’t vent your frustrations, rant, or bore the brains out of other members.
Living Memory Boxes is not a venue for you to harass, abuse, impersonate, or intimidate others. If we receive a valid complaint about your conduct, we’ll send you a warning or terminate your account.

  • Don’t be creepy.
You know the guy. Don't be that guy.

  • Don’t use Living Memory Boxes for commercial purposes.
The Boxes you create are for personal use only..

Here are some other things to keep in mind:
